Slab trays provide a flat platform on which slabs are laid. Over time, trays become worn and begin bending downwards due to contraction and expansion in high thermal fluctuations. ION-System slabs trays are designed in a way that there is no welding in the areas on which the slabs are placed, so no bending occurs over time and perfect planarity can be achieved.
